Drum Ears and Laces

The leather ears of a rope tension drum are essential in maintaining the proper amount and even distribution of tension on the heads, so torn ears or ears that have become too flexible should be replaced. If the ear is in good condition, though, with only a broken lace, the ear can be re-tied rather than replaced. We offer several styles of drum ears, from our own design ears to period styles.
