TOG prototype shop drum

All this subzero cold and snow is making us dream of parade season, which reminds us we need to get our remaining shop/demo drums back out into the field. We’re offering TOG alums a 2 week head start on this shop drum we have for sale. In 1987, our CT shop made this prototype to show TOG our concept. The full set delivered a couple years later had a few changes, notably to the art, and were 1” shorter than this 17x21 Jasper birds-eye maple shell. We’re selling this piece of history “as is”.

17x21 laminated Jasper birds-eye shell. Jasper shells, best known for the iconic sound of vintage Gretsch drums, were no longer available by the early 2000s.

This drum was taken to shows and conventions as a sample drum. There is wear to the finish, to the ears, and one slightly bent leg.I've tried to get detail in the photos but can provide more photos as needed.
