We recommend this synthetic 3 strand rope for most rope tension drums. This bright white rope reaches maximum stretch quickly and holds up extremely well under tension. We offer 5/16" as our standard size, and 1/4" for a proportional appearance on smaller drums as well as for drums that may have ears with smaller openings. We also offer this 1/4" rope in black "by the foot" only. We add the eye splice to each length for you at no charge unless requested otherwise.

If you know the length you need, order using the "by the foot" listing and adjust the quantity once you go to your cart. We will make the eye splice unless you request otherwise.

If you do not know the length you need for your snare drum, measure the inside diameter of the batter head and the height of the shell from head rim to head rim. This will give you the shell size expressed "diameter x depth" (e.g. a 17x20 drum is 17" inside hoop diameter by 20" shell height). If you shell size is not listed, order the next size up. The lengths listed include enough rope for a generous drag rope. We will make the eye splice unless you request otherwise. ALL LENGTHS ARE FOR 10 HOLES UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. Please call or email if you have questions.

If you do not know the length you need for your bass drum, measure the inside diameter of the head and the width of the shell from head rim to head rim. This will give you the shell size expressed "depth x diameter" (e.g. a 16x26 drum is 16" shell width by 26" inside hoop diameter). If you shell size is not listed, order the next size up. The lengths listed include enough rope for a generous drag rope. We will make the eye splice unless you request otherwise. ALL LENGTHS ARE FOR 12 HOLES UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. Please call or email if you have questions.
